Everything started with the perfect weather. We had a fabulous 5 days photographing horses at the beach, raptors/predators (see Fine Art Collection images below) Panoramas, Portfolio Reviews, Manual Exposure, Fill Flash and much more.

I cannot say this enough. If you attended this year's event, THANK YOU! I really appreciate you coming out and enjoying everything this festival has to offer. If you didn't, please put this event on your 2017 calendar. This is one productive event ran by some of the best people I know in the business!

Thank you to the organizers for having me once again. I look forward to 2017!

Naples Digital Photography Club really impressed me, they have their stuff together! The presentation was a huge hit. Everyone loved it! I talked about the importance of having the right Auto Focus system settings as well as choosing a solid Auto Focus Points strategy for every situation.

Thank you to the organizers for inviting me. I will be returning in 2017 with more and perhaps even a field trip!

If you would like to see me speak at your local camera club or festival, please have them contact me by following this link.

Once again I will be returning to the one and only Bosque del Apache in New Mexico. This year we'll beat the crowd by arriving a week later than when I normally go. Many of you don't know this but I work closely with the refuge to help them prepare the refuge for the Festival of the Cranes and also for many other photographers.

This year, I'm hoping to have new areas open for us to enjoy. This year is going to be GREAT!

Limited to 5 participants, you can register by following this link. Don't wait!

The Florida's Birding & Photo Fest provided great opportunities to photograph raptors up-close and personal. I decided to include several of these images to my Bird Photography Fine Art Collection.

I've been using the new Wacom tablets (Intuous Pro) for a few months now and I've been extremely impressed with the capability of this device. The new "touch" feature which allows you to zoom as you would on your smart device is simply fantastic!

My editing has been extremely productive and precise. If you don't own one, I highly recommend using it.

I've been reading lots of good stuff from the new Datacolor monitor calibration devices that I decided to drop my XRITE i1 Display Pro and give them a try.

I will report back in the upcoming months with my thoughts and if this new device is worth the upgrade!

Thank you all for reading this newsletter and until next time!
